General tickets for In:Motion’s opening weekend parties, which will take place Friday 31st September and Saturday 1st October, went live for sales at 9am yesterday morning.
The opening weekender will see performances from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Kölsch (who will be giving a DJ Set), B Traits, Elijah & Skilliam, Congo Natty and Roni Size & Krust, to mention just a few of the big names. Back for its sixth year at Bristol’s most renound music venues, Motion and the Marble Factory, the In:Motion club series has played host to a huge plethora of talent from across the UK and the wider world since it’s conception.
This year, the team have made it a priority to feature at least one Bristol-based talent in every room across the weekend; among these Eats Everything, Breach, Felix Dixon and Dave HarveyKölsch. These Bristol-heads know what Motion means for Bristol music culture, and hold the club in extremely high regard; according to Eats Everything, Motion is the ‘noughties version of Lakota in the 90’s in Bristol’, while Breach remembers ‘raving at free parties in the space which is now Motion’. This love and respect for one of Bristol’s most important musical institutions is bound to be felt whole-heartedly over In:Motion’s opening weekend. The calibre of this opening line-up really makes us excited for what else the In:Motion team have in store for the coming season.
Tickets can be purchased via the In:Motion website.
