Detroit producer Omar-S consistently puts out stylish, dusty, rhythm infused grooves that inject energy into even the most barren dancefloors.
Omar-S released ‘Day’, as part of the two track EP 004 back in 2004. This came out on his own imprint FXHE Records. The track featured on his Fabriclive 45 compilation, and won the world over for its chugging groove, warming melody and pulsating shakers.
Omar-S’ raw sound follows through into his trade practices, independently releasing all his work from his basement. A close friend and engineer to Theo Parrish, he also works a day job at the Ford motor company whilst juggling the more mundane responsibilities of a family.
