Yesterday Perbec released a new track entitled ‘Chaser’ on Autoreply records
Yesterday marked a momentous occasion for veterans of the house game Mark Broom and Baby Ford aka Perbec. ‘Chaser’ which dropped yesterday on Swedish based Autoreply records, is the product of over 2 decades of experience.
Both artists have been making high quality house tracks since the 90’s, being revered as icons of house in their own rights. The two collaborated on the Perbec pseudonym since 2001 when they released ‘Come on with me’ featuring Soulman/ Lighter Thief.
Chaser feels like a hybrid. A mix of stringy synths, and neo-futuristic melodies, over a jaw-dropping, jack hammer of a bassline. It feels contemporary but a the same time different. The rising and falling melodies, the jumping stabs, and 909 drum kit create a lovely composition that is set to impress dance floors the world over.
